VIRTUAL (ET) – To ensure the health and safety of participants in light of the coronavirus, the 2021 Catholic Days at the Capitol will be a virtual event. During these unprecedented times, through innovation and technology, Catholics can continue to bring their values and voices to political life to promote and protect human life and dignity. Online activities will begin the afternoon of Tuesday, February 2 with a welcome and legislative briefing on public policy priorities.
TALLAHASSEE (ET) – The Red Mass of the Holy Spirit will be celebrated on the evening of Feb. 3 by Bishop William Wack, CSC, at the Co-Cathedral of St. Thomas More, with limited seating capacity. The Red Mass will also be live streamed for Catholic Days participants and all others who wish to attend virtually.
February 2 is the celebration of life as a religious sister, brother, or priest. This year, it will be celebrated in parishes on the weekend of February 6 and 7. It's an opportunity to promote this way of life, an opportunity to let people know that religious life continues to be a force for good in the world.
PENSACOLA – Married couples celebrating significant anniversaries in 2021 are invited to participate in a special liturgy. Bishop Wack will lead participants in a special commemoration of vows, prayers of blessing, and public recognition of individual couples during this liturgy. A reception will follow the Mass with light refreshments for couples and their guests. Reservations will be limited for social distancing. A livestream will be available for those who cannot attend in person.
Rescued is a two-day retreat that will help participants fully enter into the mission of Jesus, and to experience the extraordinary news of the Gospel. Friday night will include prayer, worship, and fellowship. Saturday will be led by Fr. John Riccardo and the Acts XXIX Team. This retreat is open to all adults - Christians, non-Christians, and everyone in between. There is no cost to attend.
This is a virtual opportunity for single Catholic women 18-40 to pray and share with Sisters from different religious communities while discerning vocation.

As part of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, representatives of the parishes will present the catechumens (unbaptized) and the candidates (baptized) to the Bishop. The catechumens and candidates will express their desire to become part of the Catholic Church and the sponsors will give testimony to their readiness. The Bishop will then invite the catechumens and candidates to be fully initiated at the Easter Vigil.

This three-day retreat provides an opportunity for women to focus on faith and build a deeper relationship with the Lord by focusing on Adoration, Community, Theology and Service (ACTS). It is a wonderful opportunity to recharge, renew and reset through prayer, discussion, food and fellowship.
The 2021 Diocesan Marriage Retreat is a weekend for married couples to spend quality time with one another and the Lord Jesus. Talks, Mass, adoration, confession, small groups and one-on-one time moves couples to a deeper recognition of the centrality of Christ in their marriage. Access to the beaches as well as nearby state parks allows couples to reconnect and relax in the great outdoors. This retreat is available to all sacramentally married couples. The retreat begins on April 16 at 7 p.m. CT and ends April 18 at 1 p.m. Spots are limited, so register soon!
PENSACOLA – This annual gala is being held to raise funds for the Alfred-Washburn Center, as well as other outreach ministries of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in the diocese. This is the Alfred-Washburn Center’s biggest fundraiser of the year, complete with dinner, dancing, auctions and live music from Mass Kunfuzion.
