Christian Leadership Institute (C.L.I.) June 16 - 20, 2008

C.L.I. is a summer leadership program designed to provide youth leaders with additional skills for leadership in their parish, school and community. It takes place for 5 1/2 days each summer with a limited enrollment.
C.L.I. includes hands on experience through planning and implementation of all skills throughout the week. Workshops include interpersonal skills building, group dynamics, communication, etc. There is daily opportunity for prayer, journal writing, worship experiences and reflection. Scouts

Scouting is an official part of the Diocese of Pensacoal-Tallahassee Department of Youth. The office providdes materials and assistance for the scout to learn his/her respective religious scout medal.

Once a year, in both Pensacola and Tallahassee, the Department of Youth sponsors Scout Sunday. Scouts receive recognition for the work they have done in their various medal programs. Special awards are also given to adult leaders for their work in Catholic scouting.

Youth Council

The Diocesan Youth Council is composed of both elected and appointed members who serve a term of one year. The Diocesan Youth Council works to foster the total, personal and spiritual growth of each young person in the Diocese. It also seeks to draw young people to responsible participation in the life, mission and work of the faith community.
