Adult Training
The Youth Ministry Training Program…
is comprised of 6 workshops which can be offered in a two year cycle. The workshops
include the components of Youth Ministry as found in Renewing the Vision, A Framework for Catholic Youth Ministry: advocacy, catechesis, prayer and worship, community life, evangelization, justice and service, leadership development, and pastoral care. Participants will gain an understanding of the components necessary for youth ministry, learn valuable skills to apply this knowledge and network with people from other parishes.
Who should attend?
These workshops are open to any adult who wants to learn more about Youth Ministry in the Catholic Church. Participants can also receive credit toward catechist certification.
