Mission Statement

The mission of the Catholic Schools of the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee is to collaborate with parents in the formation of students spiritually and academically passing on to all the message of Christ.

Ensure that Catholic school education is available to everyone.

- Study alternate methods of financial support to Catholic Schools to make them financially accessible for
all students and less of a strain on individuals and parishes.
- Establish marketing campaigns to promote Catholic education.
- Co-ordinate development efforts among Catholic schools within diocesan office.
- Rekindle support of Catholic schools among all clergy and ensure that priests in parishes with schools
work diligently with school administration to guarantee quality Catholic education

Ensure Strong Catholic Identity and Academic Excellence in all Schools

- Study models of thriving, viable Catholic schools.
- Partner with universities to conduct research establishing data-driven academic success.
- Study new models of education to ensure schools are on the cutting edge while at the same time meeting
the needs of all students.

Ensure that educators remain and are trained in our schools.

- Offer appropriate incentives in order to retain teachers.
- Establish programs in partnerships with universities that guarantee continuous education for educators in
both their faith and academics.

Ensure that Catholic school facilities meet the needs of 21st century students and parents

- Study viability of and modernize existing viable campuses.
- Conduct a demographic study to explore need for new facilities.
- Provide high levels of maintenance at all facilities.
